SS Mary & Margaret

Welcome to St Mary and St Margaret Church

We are a thriving and inclusive all-age congregation from many walks of life. Please join us for any of our services or events. Although we are in vacancy (now being advertised) we are still celebrating Holy Communion every Sunday thanks to all our visiting clergy.

Communion is being distributed from the bottom of the altar steps. We are distributing communion in both kinds. The Clergy will distribute the wafer and the Administrant the wine from the common cup. You can however choose to receive the wafer only from the clergy. You are NOT allowed to dip your wafer into the common cup. You can of course come up for a blessing, please keep your hands down as you step forward so that the clergy knows you want a blessing.

The parish of Castle Bromwich: St Mary & St Margaret is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. You can find all our information on our Website.  The Diocese of Birmingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
