Getting here
We are not your typical quiet country church! We recognise that in a diverse culture we need to meet a wide variety of needs and so the pattern of worship here varies across the month. 10.30am services are as follows.
1st Sunday - Splash! for children in the church school next door and Morning Prayer for Adults with a teaching emphasis and post-service discussion in Church.
2nd Sunday - Choral Eucharist - a fairly 'High Church' approach.
3rd Sunday - Family Service, with a worship band and no rule book!
4th Sunday - Parish Communion - a less formal communion service.
5th Sunday - Mission Communion.
At 8.00am there is a prayer book communion and at 6.00pm there is a prayer book sung evensong which becomes a choral evensong on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Midweek services take place on Tuesday-Thursday at 9.15am. Tuesday is a Franciscan Morning Prayer; Wednesday is a Reflective Communion and Thursday is a Celtic order of Morning Prayer.
Wednesday evening is homegroups, pub based discussions or 'Rhythm of God', a service of worship based entirely around using percussion.
