Crisis in the Ukraine - charitable donations There are several charities that have launched appeals to help the people of Ukraine, for those who may wish to respond through financial donations. UNICEF is especially concerned for the safety and wellbeing of children who have become separated from their families. Visit the UNICEF website: www.unicef.org.uk The Red Cross have established a Ukraine Crisis Appeal to provide food, water, first aid, medicine, warm clothes, and shelter. Visit the Ukrainian Institute website: https://ukrainianinstitute.org.uk Whilst many items are needed (clothing, nappies, toiletries) the issue is in connecting with the organisations that have vans ready to transport these donations. We will let you know as soon as we can offer a viable process for the collection of goods for onward transportation.
