LENT COURSE

Our Lent Course focuses on the Paula Gooder's course - Lent Wise.

It will run during our weekly Wednesday Morning Prayer for 5 weeks from 4th March, 9:15 am in the chancel.

HOLY WEEK AND EASTER

Holy week is a time for contemplation, worship, celebration! We hope you can join us at St Mary Magdalene's as we come together to mark this very special time of year. 

Below is a more in  depth look at the what we will offering during this time:

Sunday 29th March - Palm Sunday Service 

9 am:  Breakfast Church

11:30 am:  Eucharist Service

6 pm:  Behold Service

Tuesday evenings - The Bible Course (session 6 - Jesus and the gospels)

 Tuesday evening Omega Bible Study sessions will run The Bible Course over 8 weeks from 24 February.

Wednesday 1st April

10 am:   Little Ones Service (for under 7s)

Thursday 2nd April - Maundy Thursday

6:30 pm:  'The last Supper' meal and stripping of the altars.

Friday 3rd April - Good Friday

12:00:  Calvary Service at Haye Pastures, Mappleborough Green

2 pm:   Reflective Hour at The Cross Service

Saturday 4th April 2-4pm: Easter Workshop - activities for families and children of all ages

Sunday 5th April - Easter Day

6:15 am:  Easter Sunrise Service.  Join us in the Easter field, the field at the bottom of the churchyard. We watch the sunrise together then have a joyful short service out in the open air, celebrating Christ's resurrection. Join us immediately after the service for refreshments and bacon or vegetarian sandwiches in the church. 

9:30 am:  Easter Parish Eucharist. 

4:30 pm:  Easter Evensong

6 pm:  Easter Behold Service
