Lent is a time to extend our lives and our awareness. We have incorporated themes from the book by David Adams, Come & See - it seeks to help us improve our vision, the way we look at the world, each other and our God. We are invited to let Jesus touch us and open our eyes, rather than let him pass by.

Elements from the book will be incorporated into our regular Wednesday Morning Prayer for 7 sessions during Lent.
We gather at 9.15am as usual, and each session will last 45-50 minutes. The first session is on Ash Wednesday (22 February) and the last session will be in Holy Week on 5th April. Join any session.

2. 1 March: Jesus: “Come and see”
3. 8 March: Andrew: “Come and See”
4. 15 March: The Samaritan Woman at the well
5. 22 March: “I once was blind but now I see”
6. 29 March: The Greeks: “We would see Jesus”
7. 5 April: Mary Magdalene: “I have seen the Lord” and Thomas: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”

We are delighted to announce that we will be running an Alpha course in the new year.

From 4th January through to the end of March, we will be holding an Alpha session every Wednesday evening at 6.15 pm at the back of the church in the ‘Halo’ space.

We start each evening with a hot supper - no need to eat before you come! This is followed by a short video and then a very informal chat when the questions raised by the video can be explored, plus any other questions that come up! No pressure on anyone to say anything at all - it is fine to just sit back, relax and take it all in.

Palm Sunday service open to everyone! Breakfast will be available from 9 am, with lots to choose from including hot cross buns and plenty of tea and coffee. This will be followed by our Palm Sunday starting at 9:30 am

The choir leads us with songs and music for an early evening of worship.

Evening service reflecting on events leading up to Easter, held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week.

Eucharist service with stripping of the altar

A special service for Good Friday. Stay for hot cross buns afterwards.

We meet in the church's Easter Field (beyond the churchyard) just before sunrise to share in the joy of Easter morning and Christ's resurrection. Stay for a hot drink and bacon butties in church afterwards.

An service for all the family to celebrate in the joy of Easter. Stay for refreshments afterwards.

Join us for breakfast from 9am, followed by a short, informal family service at 9:30am which finishes by 10am.

A gentle, meditative service held in the round in The Halo area at the back of the church.

Messy activities, fun and worship for all the family. Refreshments available.
