This short, spoken service of Holy Communion follows the contemporary language rite from Common Worship. Please see the attached term card for details.

We continue our observance of Holy Week on Maundy Thursday with a Choral Eucharist, including the Washing of Feet and the Stripping of the Altar. A Vigil before the Blessed Sacrament in the Memorial Chapel will follow after the service, lasting until 10.30pm. Everyone is very welcome.

We observe Good Friday in a joint service with St Alfege Church that includes the singing of the Passion according to St John and the Mass of the Presanctified. The Cross is then processed from the Chapel through the town centre to the Parish Church, where a service of Prayers and Meditations on the Psalms begins at 2.00pm. Everyone is very welcome to join us for part or all of our Good Friday observances.

Following the Holy Communion rite from the Book of Common Prayer (1662) , this is the principal service of the week and lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. The renowned Old Royal Naval College Trinity Laban Chapel Choir sings a mass setting and anthem every Sunday in term-time. Please see the attached term card for details.

There is a self-service crèche available for families in the Undercroft. Worship is followed by refreshments, to which all are warmly invited. Those who require access to the lift should contact the Visitor Experience team ([email protected]), in advance to ensure trained staff are on hand to help.

Join us as we celebrate the Feast of the Resurrection with a Festal Eucharist that includes the lighting of the Paschal Candle and music by Bach, Mozart, and Stanford. Families are very welcome, with a self-service creche available in the Undercroft. Celebratory refreshments will follow the service, to which everyone is invited.
