What we believe

We believe in God the Holy Trinity as revealed in the Bible and expressed in the ancient catholic Creeds. We are hopeful followers of Jesus Christ, who says He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We are learning to love God and our neighbour.

Our lives our shaped by the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ and of our hope in his coming again in glory. We believe that it is through worship, teaching, fellowship, private disciplines of prayer and reading Scripture, and service to others that we become more deeply aware of who God is and of our own souls. This encounter and union with God through Word and Sacrament, fellowship and service, changes us. We become light and salt in the world and are more loving towards our neighbours. Our final hope is the life of heaven, a life we begin to participate in even now.
