A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is a service which was first introduced in 1918 at King's College, Cambridge, to bring a more imaginative approach to worship.
The service includes readings from the Bible. The opening carol is always 'Once in Royal David's City', and 'O come all ye faithful' and 'Hark! The Herald Angels sing' are always sung at the end of the service.
You are very welcome to join us for this very special service, which will take place twice. This first service in the afternoon is meant for those who wish to be home before it gets dark.
