Safeguarding

The Royal Garrison Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. As well as working in line with Ministry of Defence Safeguarding Framework (JSP 834), we follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and as a military Chapel, sit within the responsibility of the Aldershot Garrison Safeguarding Officer (GSO). The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who will advise the Royal Garrison Church Chaplain and GSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the GSO (Nicole Bridgman: 0300 153 3329 or [email protected]). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adult Services.
