This Service of Remembrance is commemorated each year (on the Sunday nearest 11 November) and marks the end of the Great War in 1918 - on the 11 day of the 11 month at the 11 hour.
The Service will be followed by the act of remembrance and laying of wreaths at the memorial outside the main gate of the church. There will be a march pass after the wreath laying. This will be along the Old Contemptibles Road.

It is advisable that all who wish to attend, arrive and are seated by 0930.

From March 2025, the church is normally open to visitors on Wednesdays and Fridays: 0900-1400.  Please email to check, if travelling afar!


Office opening hours are: 0800-1200 (Monday-Friday).

The Royal Garrison Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. As well as working in line with Ministry of Defence Safeguarding Framework (JSP 834), we follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and as a military Chapel, sit within the responsibility of the Aldershot Garrison Safeguarding Officer (GSO).
