Church of England Diocese of Norwich Gorleston

About Us

St. Andrew's is the Parish Church of Gorleston and, as with any large group of people, the membership covers a very varied range, from babes in arms to folk well on in their nineties, from people in work to those looking for it, from those physically well to those who struggle with illness, from life-long Gorleston residents to new people on the block, St Andrew's is all about people, people with a huge variety of experience of life.

What we have in common is that we are on a journey of faith, trying to know God better through Jesus. We are absolutely NOT a perfect church, just a collection of sinners trying to live God's way, trying to help and support each other and our neighbours, tapping into God's resources of love and truth and forgiveness.

Our mission statement reminds us that we are called "to know Jesus better and to make him better known".

Come and join with us on this journey of discovery and fulfillment. Check out our website to find out all about us.
