A great time was had at the VE 80 wartime singalong with refreshments including cakes from recipes from the 1940's by Grandmother's recipes. Thanks to all contributors for the lovely tea breads and cakes. 1940's biscuits had been sought out too. Many items of memorabilia were brought in and there were flags and hats galore. Money was raised for Christian Aid thinking about World Peace today. All were in good voice as we went back to the 1940's for a good afternoon.
