HOPE 26 is a Christian social action initiative, overseen by Martham Community Church, which looks to provide support to individuals and households facing financial, social, and spiritual hardship.HOPE 26 may provide information, signposting, and aid, with the aim of addressing a range of social/welfare needs. This may include the provision of household goods or store vouchers. Typically, those in receipt of help from HOPE 26, will primarily be residents of the northern villages within the Borough of Great Yarmouth.Referrals to HOPE 26 can be made via a range of community organisations, including, but not restricted to:• schools and nurseries• NHS bodies• Children’s and Adult’s Social Services• criminal justice agencies• Dial, Citizens Advice Bureau and other social/welfare bodies• Churches• Domestic Abuse agencies• Housing and homelessness agencies• Food banks, community larders etc• LibrariesWe will also consider self-referrals.All referrals should be made by fully completing HOPE 26’s referral form.
