Lent is a time to draw closer to God through self-discipline and nourishing our souls. You are invited to enjoy some time and space with Rev Catherine Bond of Lark Rise Retreats at Barham Church Hall.
We will be exploring the lives of three Celtic Saints – Columba, Patrick and Brigit to see what we can learn from their lives.
No prior knowledge of Celtic Christian spirituality is necessary.
Catherine is an experienced retreat day leader and a trained spiritual director. Like Revd Tracey, she is a member of the Community of Aidan and Hilda based on Lindisfarne.

Henley: St Peter

St Peter's is a small, village church set in the middle of Henley, just six miles north of Ipswich.  We are linked with the churches in Barham and Great Blakenham - our benefice.  We are holding services in the church and also have services on Zoom - anyone is welcome to join us in person or online!

The parish of Henley St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
