The Said Lunchtime Eucharist (common worship) is a spoken service where the congregation are invited to join in with the responses written in the order of service.

This service is usually held in one of the side chapels and lasts around 30 minutes

The Eucharist is the main service of the week, the remembrance of the Last Supper.

During term-time the service is sung either by the Cathedral Choir or the Cathedral Consort, the Cathedral's youth choir.

Choral Evensong

You are welcome to join us for Choral Evensong which takes place nearly every day.

The jewel in the English choral tradition, the words of this service are largely unchanged in 500 years, but there has been a wealth of music composed for those words over the centuries.

Evensong at Bristol Cathedral includes anything from music composed in the 16th century, to music composed last year. The service lasts approximately 40 minutes (one hour on Sunday, to include a sermon, and additional hymn) and is the perfect way to end your day.

A special Eucharist service dedicated to commemorating the conclusion of Jesus' earthly ministry and his exaltation to the right hand of God the Father, 40 days after the joyous celebration of Easter. During the service, the congregation will be invited to share in the bread and wine. You are welcome to receive communion or a blessing. You do not have to be a practicing member of the Church of England to attend the Eucharist. A list of names of those who died affected by homelessness will be read out during the service.

All are welcome, including dogs.
Refreshments will be available following the service.

This event is in partnership with InHope, Bristol Drugs Project, St Mungo's and Salvation Army.

Trinity Sunday Eucharist

A very special service celebrating the Feast Title of Bristol Cathedral. A joyous and music filled service sung by the Cathedral Choristers.
Following the Eucharist, there will be a short recital given by choristers, showcasing their musical skills beyond singing. The recital will be free to attend, and donations will go towards the Choir Tour Fund.
