You’re invited to church this Christmas!

You are very welcome at our Advent and Christmas services and events – bring your family and friends or come along on your own. Whether it will be your first time at church or you have been before, we look forward to welcoming you!

Bristol Cathedral is a living place of Anglican worship at the heart of one of the UK’s most vibrant cities. People gather here each day to pray, reflect, and share in the beauty of music, scripture, and sacrament. Our pattern of services offers both stillness and celebration, from the quiet rhythms of Morning Prayer to the rich harmonies of Choral Evensong and the shared table of the Sunday Eucharist. Alongside worship, the Cathedral hosts an ever-changing programme of concerts, talks, exhibitions, and community gatherings. These events invite conversation, creativity, and connection, welcoming all who wish to encounter this historic building as a place of discovery and belonging.

Celebrate the arrival of the Magi at Bristol Cathedral’s Epiphany Eucharist.
Epiphany marks the visit of the wise men to the baby Jesus and celebrates the revelation of Christ to the wider world. This service is a chance to reflect on this important moment in the Christmas story through prayers, readings and music sung by the Cathedral Choir.
Join us in the beautiful Cathedral setting for a peaceful and uplifting celebration, perfect for continuing the joy of the festive season. All are welcome to share in the story, the music and the spirit of Epiphany.
