The Parish Church of the Ascension

Thank you for visiting this page. Our Parish church is a welcoming church where all are welcome. It does not matter how long you have been attending church or whether this is your first time of attending, you will be made to feel welcome. We know that you will find the church very beautiful and peaceful.

We have a quiet place for reflection, play area for young children, and weekly music equipment training for all. There is always refreshment after our morning service every Sunday and an opportunity to get to know us.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Plumstead: The Ascension is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Roslyn Cumberbatch on 07714329070 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [email protected] or call 020 7939 9441. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
