Every Monday 9:30 - 10 am Morning Prayer. A quiet time of shared reflection on scripture and prayer Every First Wednesday of the Month (Except Lent, where it is weekly) 12:00 -2:00 pm: Informal prayer and a warm welcome. BYO Lunch. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits. Sundays (Unless otherwise stated) 11:15 am - 12:15 pm Holy Communion or Service of the Word.

Nine Lessons and Carols @ St Nicholas Church Sunday December 14th 6.30 pm

Step away from the Christmas rush and join us for our much-loved Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at St Nicholas Church, Elstree.

In the beautiful, candlelit setting of our historic church, we'll celebrate the true heart of Christmas. Through a sequence of nine short Bible readings (the 'lessons') and a blend of traditional carols, hymns, and choir anthems, the service recounts the timeless story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the glorious birth of Jesus Christ.

Let the soaring music and the sacred narrative uplift your spirits and usher in the peace of the festive season. This is a perfect way for the whole community to pause and reflect on the wonder of Christmas.

Crib Service 24th December 4.00 pm

Come and experience the magic of the Nativity as we gather around the crib and hear the timeless story of the first Christmas.

This short, interactive service is perfect for all ages, especially our very youngest members and their families.

When: 24th December at 4 pm

Where: All Saints Church, Shenley Road, Borehamwood, WD6 1EB

Children are welcome. (It is usually a smaller and quieter Service than St Michael's Christingle, which is at 5 PM)

Our gentle Crib Service is ideal for those with sensory issues, who like a little less crowds.

Nativity Play and Christingle @ St Michael and All Angels

Join us for a joyful and festive Nativity Play and Christingle Service at St Michael and All Angels, Brook Road, Borehamwood, on Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Experience the wonder of the Christmas story brought to life by our Nativity play, followed by the magical glow of the Christingle candles, symbolising Jesus as the light of the world.

This is a wonderful service for the whole family and a perfect way to start your Christmas celebrations.

Everyone is welcome! Feel free to come dressed as your favourite Nativity character (angel, shepherd, wise person, star, or even an animal!) and share in this special Christmas Eve tradition. Come early as we do have a limited number of costumes, if you don't have your own.
