The main Sunday worship at St Peter's is our sung 9:30am Eucharist with choir and Sunday School. There is usually a monthly BCP Choral Evensong - see church notices for details. A fun-packed activity group for toddlers, with toys, games, craft activities, story time, juice and coffee/tea & biscuits - all for £1 per family. The group meets in the Court House (next to St Peter's Church) on Fridays 9.30am-11.15am (term-time only). On the first Friday in the month Little Fishes has a short children's service in St Peters Church at 10.00am. Do come and join us!

Community Christmas Concert

As Christmas approaches, we hold an evening of festive music with Christmas chart toppers, celebrity readings and congregational carols. Festive music will be performed by the Ridgeway Chorale, John Knowles, Rachel Edmunds and Madalina Turan. Readings will include Bible passages, together with modern yuletide messages evoking thoughtfulness and laughter. Our guest readers will include comedian and broadcaster Robin Ince; TV food and drink host Nigel Barden; Sue Jordan, Mayor of Berkhamsted; Paul Ryan, local business owner; and the Head Boy of Berkhamsted School.

Sundays Together Lunches are a friendly social group for our older friends in the parish who may be on their own at a certain age. Luncheon is laid on every 1st Sunday of every month in the Court House, and the next one is on Sunday 3 November. Guests receive a welcome drink when they arrive, followed by two-course meal, all for a handsome £6. This is a very popular event, bringing members of the church and the community together every month through the delights of food. It’s a lovely way for people to socialise and helps to combat loneliness in our community.
