Church of England Diocese of St.Albans Potten End

Children and young people

Due to government guidelines Messy Church and Trinity Kids is currently suspended in its usual format. Our website has various resources, videos and ideas for families and faith:

For the uninitiated, Messy Church is a fun, engaging and relaxed way for Families to come together, to celebrate God’s love and grow in their faith in an atmosphere that is inclusive of all ages, whether you are 1 or 100, where the children & adults alike can learn through play & arts & crafts and are actively encouraged to make noise & of course mess!

Usually every 2nd Sunday in the month (during term time) between 4-6pm, we get together in Potten End School hall to explore our faith and have fun together.

After our celebration we carry on to have a yummy tea either in the Church Room or in the school hall.

Trinity Kids is our Sunday school that runs on the 1st Sunday of each month, in the Church Room. It is aimed at children aged 10 and under. Every session includes age appropriate toys as well as fun activities and crafts based around a special liturgical theme. Parents are welcome to stay or leave the children. The children are welcomed back into Church for the Peace.</div>

The Church has very strong links with Potten End Church of England Primary School, which maintains a strong Christian ethos. Children at the school attend a monthly service held in the Church and the vicar delivers weekly Collective Worship. For more information about the school please visit:
