St Mary

Welcome to St. Mary's Church!

COVID measures have been removed by the government.  However, do feel free to wear a face covering in church, be mindful of your distance from others and use the hand sanitiser available at the door if you wish.

We are a friendly community who would love to get to know you.  If you're interested in a wedding, baptism or to bid farewell to a loved one please contact us.  If you're curious about Christianity, we have courses that reveal all.

The parish of King's Walden is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. Please see the Safeguarding box below for more details and contact information for our Safeguarding Officer and Diocesan Officer.

Please donate to help our work in the community--and thank you!

Safeguarding

Our parish of King's Walden is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St. Albans’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor by clicking on the link below which takes you to our page with contact information and Parish Safeguarding Policies. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
