Music and Worship
During 2022 a new team of bell ringers has been trained and is now actively ringing at least once a month. It is most unusual for new teams of bell ringers to be established, so we are really pleased with this development.
We held two live concerts in 2022 - a baritone recital and a wide ranging classical music concert performed by local artists.
We plan to do more concerts in 2023.
There is a small one manual organ which is used for all services.
We hold a monthly 8 O'clock service on the second Sunday.
Rehearsals every Tuesday evening at 6pm - new members always welcome. Please contact the Vicar who takes the practices. 01438 871 121
Groups, Courses and Activities
We hold regular Bible studies every year usually of 4 - 6 weeks duration. Recent studies have included the letter to the Ephesians, the 2nd Isaiah, Philippians. We have also considered 'Right with God' by Micheal Reeves.
We have coffee after every service, and specifically before the service of Sunday Praise on the 2nd Sunday in the month.
We include Bible study under this heading.
We also believe that our Advent Windows initiatives make for discipleship as well as missionary outreach.
We have a holiday club before the August bank holiday and a craft morning for children on Good Friday.
We held a Pilgrim course on the Beatitudes.
