At the 4pm we make space to worship together, hear from God’s word and see what God might want to do among us. St Andrews Kids happens on the first Sunday of the month & there is a self-service children's play area with toys, craft and games for the other weeks.

What to expect:
🕓 From 4:00pm – Grab a tea or coffee and take some time to hang out and connect.

🎶 At 4:10pm – We’ll gather in the main part of the church for a time of worship with a few songs.

📢 After worship – We’ll share some notices and give an opportunity to give financially, if you’d like to.

📖 Then – We’ll hear from God’s Word and create space throughout for what God might want to do in us and through us.

⏰ We’ll finish by 5:15pm – and there’s time afterwards to hang out, catch up, or receive prayer.

You are so welcome here, just as you are.
Whether you’re full of faith or full of questions, we’d love for you to feel at home.

This Christmas, we would love to invite you to join us at St. Andrews as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. With lots happening throughout December, there’s something for everyone, and we’d love to see you there!

Safeguarding

St Andrew’s is proud to be a part of the Diocese of St. Albans in the Church of England, whose Archbishops, Bishops, clergy and leaders are absolutely committed to safeguarding as an integral part of the life and ministry of the Church.

Safeguarding means the action the Church takes to promote a safer culture. This means we will promote the welfare of children, young people and adults, work to prevent abuse from occurring, seek to protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond well to those who have been abused. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks.

The Church of England affirms the ‘Whole Church’ approach to safeguarding. This approach encompasses a commitment to consistent policy and practice across all Church bodies, Church Officers and that everyone associated with the Church, who comes into contact with children, young people and adults, has a role to play.

The Church will take appropriate steps to maintain a safer environment for all and to practise fully and positively Christ’s Ministry towards children, young people and adults; to respond sensitively and compassionately to their needs in order to help keep them safe from harm.

Although safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone here at St Andrew’s, Annette Reeve is our designated Safeguarding Lead and can be contacted about any safeguarding matter on 07740 679715. You can also speak to the vicar : Rev James Barlow —————-
