St Andrew’s is a welcoming Church of England church in the heart of Watford, with regular services and events for all ages and stages of life. On Sundays, we gather for worship that is centred on Jesus, rooted in the Bible, and open to the work of the Holy Spirit. Our main service is at 10am, with St Andrew’s Kids running alongside for children aged 3–11. We also meet again at 4pm for a more relaxed, reflective service, with opportunities for prayer, worship, and space to encounter God. During the week, the church is alive with activity. We host groups focused on prayer, Bible study, community, and support, as well as courses such as Alpha for those exploring the Christian faith. There are regular opportunities for pastoral care, quiet prayer, and community events throughout the year. Whether you are new to church, returning after some time away, or looking for a place to belong, you would be very welcome at St Andrew’s. 10am Service

Our first service is at 10am, it’s a service of Holy Communion, with modern words and traditional hymns. During the service we have St Andrews Kids for all those between the ages of three and eleven, this is a fun time for the kids to learn more about Jesus for themselves. This service is followed with a cup of coffee or tea and a chance to get to know other members of the church.

St Andrew’s Kids

Little ones aged 0-2 are welcome to play in our children's area during the service or join the children's session in the hall with a parent or carer.

Children aged 3–11 years (Nursery to year 6) are encouraged to join our fun and learning in the hall. Our sessions include teaching, worship, prayer, snack and games.

Registration opens from 9:50 and we ask for you to collect your child as we begin to receive communion so you can share communion together as a family. On the 3rd week of the month for our service of 'Morning Prayer' we ask for you to collect your child during the final hymn.

4pm Service

At the 4pm we make space to worship together, hear from God’s word and see what God might want to do among us. St Andrew's Kids and Youth happens on the first Sunday of the month & there is a self-service children's play area with toys, craft and games for the other weeks.

What to expect:
🕓 From 4:00pm – Grab a tea or coffee and take some time to hang out and connect.

🎶 At 4:10pm – We’ll gather in the main part of the church for a time of worship with a few songs.

📢 After worship – We’ll share some notices and give an opportunity to give financially, if you’d like to.

📖 Then – We’ll hear from God’s Word and create space throughout for what God might want to do in us and through us.

⏰ We’ll finish by 5:15pm – and there’s time afterwards to hang out, catch up, or receive prayer.

A Monday morning baby and toddler hangout during school term time aimed at parent’s of little ones. We meet from 9.30am to 11am, with coffee, toys, music activities, biscuits and great conversation. Friendly, Fun & Free. Ages 0-4. To get the most out of our morning, it would be super helpful if you could arrive before 10am.
