Church of England Diocese of St.Albans Watford

St Mary's Parish Church

Welcome to St Mary's Church, a friendly Anglican community on Watford High Street.  We are located in the heart of Watford, where the church has been the spiritual centre of the town for 800 years.  Today it is home to a vibrant group of ordinary people who are discovering that Jesus Christ is relevant to the lives of adults and children in the 21st century.

As you will be aware, currently all public worship is suspended in the church until further notice.  Please check on the services page for details of on-line worship.

The parish of Watford is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of St Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
