Accessibility

St Matthew's is a member of Inclusive Church - we believe in a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate.

There is a drop off and pick up space next to the step free entrance and there are three accessible parking spaces.

The step free entrance is to the left of the main front door.

There is a wheelchair available on request.

There are bus stops outside the church. Stop E goes in the direction of Redhill town centre, and stop D goes towards Reigate. Buses stopping here include 420 430 460 and the 411
Redhill Station is approximately 10 minutes walk away from the church.

St Matthew's is a member of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Group and welcome anyone wearing a Sunflower lanyard. There is an area in the church to support those with hidden disabilities, including visual timelines, sound-reducing headphones. and response buttons for non-verbal users.

Oat milk is available at coffee time.

The accessible drop-off point is located to the right of the main front door.

Assistance dogs are welcome, but please let one of the welcome team know that you are bringing an assistance dog to the service.

There is an accessible toilet with an alarm.

Hearing loop

Car parking is available.

There are large print service sheets available for almost all services.

The disabled toilet has a baby changing mat.

A defibrillator is located in the church hall.

Music and Worship

Lunchtime Music concerts are held during term time every Thursday from 1:10

Organ

The robed choir leads the 10 am Eucharist service and also sings Choral Evensong on the third Sunday of every month during term time.

An acoustic Worship Band plays at the Community Communion service on the third Sunday of each month,


Groups, Courses and Activities

Advice is available from St Matthew's Foodbank which is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 - 2 pm.

Held at 4 pm on the first Sunday of each month during term time.

Mothers Union

St Matthew's Toddler Group meets during term time in the church hall on Mondays from 9:30
