Sunday Worship

Venue
St Barnabas
Address
St Barnabas Church, Queen’s Square, Adeyfield, Hemel Hempstead Herts, HP2 4EW, United Kingdom

Sundays at 10 am are the main gathering of the week for the community of St Barnabas.

We come together, from across Hemel Hempstead, to sing songs, pray, and hear about the hope we find in following Jesus. All are welcome to attend, at whatever age or stage of life you may be, and wherever you may be along your journey of faith. You are welcome to come as you are, don't feel like you have to wear your "Sunday best", and take part as you are most comfortable in doing so.

Across the month, we have a pattern of worship that is:

1st Sunday: All In Worship.
2nd Sunday: Informal Holy Communion*
3rd Sunday: Holy Communion*
4th Sunday: Informal Holy Communion*
5th Sunday: All In Worship.

*Kids & Youth Group

All our Sunday services begin at 10 am, lasting for about an hour, and we use a mix of styles and traditions in our worship together. All our services are based on the Chruch of England Common Worship, with our 3rd Sundays following a more "traditional" feel. When it is a service that includes Holy Communion, our priest, Rev'd Matt, will often robe. Our kids and youth group is for all who attend school, and it meets across the school term times, enabled by our volunteers.

Afterwards, you are more than welcome to stay for a cuppa and chat. If you need someone to listen and pray with you, just approach the leader of the service or our priest. Who will listen in confidence and offer to pray with you.

We will always take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and act accordingly.
