St John the Baptist

Our lovely church serves the villages of Flitton, Greenfield and Wardhedges. We have a small congregation, but we still have a service most weeks.

We cater for all tastes, from the traditional through to the informal. Whether you are familiar with the Church of England or new to it, we are sure you will find something you can appreciate. We hope you will come and visit the church and take part in our activities.

Safeguarding

Here in Flitton we are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Safeguarding Officer (SO). Our Diocese of St.Albans' safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our SO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the SO (details below) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Jez Hirst: 01727 818107 / 07867 350886 / [email protected]). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
