We have a range of toilets, new in 2018. This includes accessible toilets on both the ground and first floor.

Thanks to the generosity of Castle Newnham School we are able to use the playground of the school Goldington Road (south) site for parking between 09.30 and 13.00 on a Sunday morning.

One toilet is large enough for wheelchair users and includes a hoist and adult sized changing table.
Another (first floor) is accessible. Both these toilets include emergency pull cords

Most entrances to our building are step free.


Our Building

The Church is open for individual prayer when the office is open. Entry via Dudley Street.

We achieved a Bronze Eco Church award in 2021


Music and Worship

The organ is used at our 10am Holy Communion Service on a Wednesday and occasionally at other services

We have a worship band at our 10.30am and 7pm services on a Sunday


Groups, Courses and Activities

Forge is a chance for Yr 5+6s or ages 9-11 to drop in to Christ Church after school on Fridays (15:30-16:45).
We intend it to be a place where they can 'chill out' and spend time with their friends. We will watch some movies with Christian themes and talk about them, then play games. Milkshakes and popcorn or toast are part of our session.

We have over a dozen home groups that meet at various time and locations to study the Bible and pray

We serve Fairtrade tea and coffee

We are a collection point for Bedford Foodbank, whenever the halls are staffed and a distribution centre on Tuesdays between 1pm and 3pm

We have a range of different audio-visual facilities, depending on which part of the building you are in. For example in our main hall you can play a DVD, watch a slide show or a PowerPoint presentation, or television (we have a television licence)

Our halls and meeting rooms are available for hire.
