Church of England Diocese of St.Albans St. Paul Bedford

St Paul's, Bedford

Welcome to the page of St Paul's, Bedford town-centre church and civic church for the county. St Paul's has a long and rich history, and stands on the site where there has been a religious building for over 1000 years. It is an admired and much visited attraction in the town centre and welcomes thousands of visitors and worshippers each year.

St Paul's has a rich musical tradition and enjoys worship in the high Anglican tradition of the Church of England. We play host to concerts and other events throughout the year and are open every day for visits,  private prayer and quiet time.

The parish of Bedford: St Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
