Holding weddings in our beautiful church building, and helping you to plan a service that is personal, spiritual, and meaningful, is one of our biggest joys as a parish church. The Vicar is always delighted to discuss the possibility of your getting married in the church.
HM Government announced on 23rd June that small weddings, with up to 30 people present (including the bride, groom, and vicar) if safe physical distancing can be maintained could begin again with effect from 4th July.
We are glad to be able to say that, following full risk assessments, we are able to recommence holding wedding services in the church from Saturday 8th August onwards. Weddings do, of course, need to be conducted in line with all coronavirus regulations issued by HM Government and the Church of England covering the date of the wedding, which from 8th August includes the need for face masks to be worn inside the church building, with a few exceptions on medical grounds.
