Communion in its traditional format

This is an informal sing-along of all the favourite Christmas carols and songs and an opportunity to make requests. There will be refreshments afterwards.

Thanks to the children of Studham School who are assembling the Christingle, everyone will receive a Christingle orange. The candles will be lit during the service, symbolising the light of Christ which brings love and hope for the future. The collection will be donated to the Children's Society to support their important work with vulnerable children. The service will conclude with refreshments and the celebration of all the December birthdays.

During our regular modern Holy Communion service, the children go out and are led in their own fun-filled and educational session with trained lay people. All ages very welcome.

Time to halt all the shopping and preparations and enjoy the traditional Christmas carols and bible readings.

We shall be celebrating Christmas with this Holy Communion Service by candlelight.
