Church of England Diocese of St.Albans Marston Morteyne with Lidlington

St Mary's Marston

St Mary's is the Church of England parish church for Marston Moreteyne and Lidlington. Our worship is centred around sharing in the sacrament of Holy Communion and exploring how the Bible and the traditions of the Church are relevant to contemporary living.

We believe that all people are created in the likeness of God and are equally and unconditionally loved by Him, so how could we not strive to do the same? All are welcome at St Mary's, regardless of age, gender, race, sexuality, disability, or social-standing.

The parish of Marston Morteyne w Lidlington is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
