About Us

St Leonard's is an ancient church steeped in the history and prayers of generations of village residents.

Stagsden is a traditional farming village. St Leonard is the patron Saint of prisoners and was a sixth century monk who dedicated his life to helping prisoners once they had been released by setting up a farming community where they could live and work.

St Leonard's is in a group of churches that also includes St Mary's in Oakley and St Owen's in Bromham. Our vicar is Revd Catherine Wilson and we have a curate Revd Petra Yates and a supporting priest Revd Di Harpham.
