Accessibility

Toilets are available in the hall and office extension. There is internal access from the church via steps.

Baby changing facilities are available in the hall and office extension. Step-free access is via the outside of the church. Internal access has several steps.

The church has a small car park accessed via Church Street. Outside of church service and office opening times the barrier may be locked. During office opening times a small number of parking spaces are available off road on St. Mary's Road. These spaces require a visitor permit from the office.

Our Building

We are open on Wednesdays between 10.30am and 1.30pm.

St Mary's is the only Grade 1 listed building in Luton.


Music and Worship

The bellringers at St. Mary's ring for Sunday morning services each week and also practise most Tuesday evenings. They ring for weddings and special occasions when requested. All of the St. Mary's ringers are members of the Bedfordshire Association of Church Bellringers.

We are fortunate to be able to host a variety of concerts for local organisations including Luton Music Mix, Luton Choral Society and regular organ recitals.

Groups, Courses and Activities

Impact youth group for years 7-13 meets on Thursdays from 5-7pm. 2 hours of games, activities, sessions and lots of FOOD!

Youth also meet during the 10.30am Sunday service.

The church is open during all service times and office opening times. For access outside of church services, please enter via the office doors. If you require step-free access outside of service times, please call ahead.

If you wish to visit the building, the best time is Wednesday 10.30am-1.30pm

We are a fair trade church.

Song words and liturgy are projected on screens during the 10.30am Sunday service.

The Church building is popular with hirers and is sought after for various events from major ones such as University Graduations, public and civic services through to smaller concerts and recitals. St Mary's also has a hall and rooms that are used by a number of local organisations.
