Safeguarding

St Paul's Church takes safeguarding of children and adults who are vulnerable seriously.

Our PCC have adopted the House of Bishops Safeguarding Policies and Practice Guidance as well as the ‘Promoting a Safer Church’ policy statement and ‘Domestic Abuse’ parish statements. We follow safer recruiting guidelines, clergy are DBS checked through the diocese and the PCC undertake DBS checks through thirtyoneeight (previously known as CCPAS) for volunteers working with children and adults who may be vulnerable.

If you have any safeguarding concerns our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Yvette Roberts who can be contacted by email at [email protected] or on 07435 357185 or our Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser Jeremy Hirst and he can be contacted by email at [email protected] or by telephone on 01727 818107 or 07867 350886.
