St Guthlac's, Astwick

Nestling between farms and water mills in the village of Astwick, near Stotfold, St Guthlac's church is thought to be the smallest parish in England. It hasn’t changed much over the centuries and still retains its original box pews, wooden pulpit and screen, but alas, still no toilet!  There is a Communion Service every 1st Sunday of the month at 11:15am. So, if getting to church early is a big rush, our mid-morning service is ideal. Our services are relaxed and family friendly and we always welcome new people.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Astwick is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of St.Albans’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
