Choral Evensong

A Service of prayer book Evensong with music sung by the choir, hymns, prayers, readings and a sermon.

No service on 28th September or 23rd November. Advent Carol service on 30th November at 6pm. No Evensong on 28th December. The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols is on Sunday 21st December at 6pm.

Feel the Spirit

Join Michael Smith and Josie Cowley on Saturday 1st November at 6.30pm at St Mary's Standon, as they present a choral evening celebrating the 80th and 70th birthdays of composing legends Sir John Rutter and Bob Chilcott.
The Harmonaires Choir and The Benefice Choir will perform a stunning selection of choral gems from the giant canon of these composing greats., including extracts from Rutter's Requiem, Chilcott's Little Jazz Madrigals and accompaniments on piano, organ and harp.
Entrance is free with a retiring collection for Youth Music.
