A magnificent profit of £10, 044.59 was raised at this years Scarecrow Festival due to the amazing efforts of the wonderful community. We wanted to give you an update on where the money has been spent 

£6,505 for the tree work in St James church yard

£702 toward the step free access work at St James

£662 St Mary’s (Gilston) and St Botolohs (Eastwick) churches

£381 to Grove Cottage, Bishops Stortford

£300 to the pop up shop in SBW

£300 to Herts and Essex Wildlife Trust

£300 to MIND in Herts

£300 to the Bishops appeal for Uganda

£152 for replacement light bulbs in St James church

£100 to Elodia, the girl St James support via Compassion

£50 to Ukraine

This leaves approximately £293 which will go toward the cost of heating oil for St James church.
