Our service of Holy Communion includes bible readings, a sermon, given by one of the team, traditional hymns and prayers.

Everyone is welcome to join us and we serve tea/coffee after the service and take the opportunity to catch up with each other.

All pets are welcome to come along for our Pet Service on Sunday 20th September, 4pm Or do bring along a picture of your pet for a blessing.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday 22nd September 12 noon in St Mary's.
The church will be unavailable for any other access between 11am-2pm.

Every Thursday morning, we pray together using the Church of England Daily Office, which includes bible readings, a reflection and a psalm.
It is a quiet, gentle gathering to prepare for the day ahead. You'd be very welcome to join us.

We are delighted to welcome the students and staff of Edwinstree School who take the walk across the fields to Aspenden for their annual Harvest Festival services.

Save the date if you would like to join us for this reflective service as we remember those we love but see no longer. We will light candles in their memory and there will be hymns and prayers.

All are welcome to join us for a Remembrance Day All Age Worship service. After the service there will be a Roll of Honour as an act of Remembrance at the War Memorial, naming those people from Aspenden parish who lost their lives during the 1st and 2nd World Wars.

This year's theme for Safeguarding Sunday is 'Love Protects.'
Safeguarding is the protection of those in our care. In 1 Corinthians 13, we’re told that love protects. Safeguarding isn’t an external pressure or ‘thing to do’, it’s an act of love. And love is central to our faith.
There will be a Holy Communion in this service too, everyone is welcome!

Buntingford Lice Presents: Pilgrim Cello
In 2022 Kenneth cycled with his cello strapped on the back of his bike from Hadrian’s Wall to Rome, performing every day en route.
Since then, author and cellist Kenneth Wilson toured all 42 English cathedrals on his bike with his cello. Tonight he will perform the cello music that he played along the way.

This should prove to be a most fascinating and entertaining evening!

We are delighted to holding our 3rd Christmas Tree Festival. This year, it will be over the weekend of Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December.
Further details of how you can get involved, either to create and display a tree or to volunteer over the weekend will be updated in due course.
Pencil it in your diary as it is a fabulous festive time!

For a truly beautiful traditional carol service, come along to St Mary's in Aspenden. The church will be decorated and lit with candles to get you prepared for Christmas. There will be bible readings, choir and congregation carols.
Please come early as this service is very well attended. Doors open at 7pm.

Come and join us to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Starting at 9.30am, to give plenty of time for your festivities.
