Dates for the Diary/Upcoming Events

Thursday 24th July at 7pm - Julian Prayer will be at Middle Drift and will take the format of a Prayer Walk in the Garden - similar to last year. There is plenty fo shade, and should it rain, we will meet inside instead.

26th September - Organ recital

4th October - Harvest Supper

8th November - Remembrance themed lunch time concert. Ruth Savage

As the campaign "Plastic Free July" continues, we pray that we can move to world without single use plastics and have cleaner streets, oceans and communities.

NOTICES

CHILDREN'S CHURCH IS TAKING A BREAK DURING THE SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAYS FROM 20TH JULY However, 10.30am each Sunday, on the red tables in the side aisle near the creche, there will be activity sheets, materials etc which parents/ carers are welcome to use with their children.

31st August will be an all-age celebration at the close of our Summer Holiday Club.

7 September - Children's Church restarts - all school-age children most welcome.

BEDS & HERTS HISTORIC CHURCHES TRUST - SPONSORED BIKE ‘N HIKE - SATURDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2025 Last year we in Royston raised £ 1,700 which was divided equally between BHHCT and our own parish funds. We need both participants and sponsors this year to help us achieve another successful Bike ‘n Hike. Select your own route for cycling or hiking between the churches – there are over 600 churches to choose from so make it as long or as short as you wish. Most churches will be open on the day. The Sponsorship Packs are now available and if you would like a pack, please contact

A BIG THANK YOU: I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of you for the warm welcome myself, Joe and the girls have received as we have joined you here in Royston. I am especially thankful for the generous gifts we have been given, both the oil stocks I was presented with last Sunday and the hamper that was waiting for us as we moved into the house a few short weeks ago.
The lunch last week was a lovely opportunity to begin meeting you all and I look forward to getting to know you all over the next few weeks and months. Please do continue to pray for me as I begin my curacy as I will continue to pray for you all. Jaime.

ST JOHN the BAPTIST CHURCH ROYSTON, HOLIDAY CLUB 'SEASIDE ADVENTURES TRUSTING IN GOD'. This is for children 0 to 11 years with their parent/carer with sessions on August 5th, 14th and 28th from 10am to 12 am. It is £2.50 per child.
