The October magazine features articles about the recent Heritage Open Day with the Royston Tapestry, Christian of the Month, the missionary Henry Martyn, and eco initiatives including earning the Eco Church Silver Award through energy conservation, wildlife encouragement, and global engagement.  There is a report on our Creationtide speaker, an ambassador for the "Take the Jump" movement.  Andy Moorley has contributed to "Ministers Musings".  Our annual shoebox appeal is initiated with information about the organisation "Link to Hope".   The magazine also promotes environmental actions, a clothes swap, and supports Lee Dingwall’s Sahara Ultra Challenge for WWF, fostering faith, sustainability, and community resilience. And of course, there is the ever-popular "Heath Watch with Holly (the little dog".
