Join us for a short, contemplative service of Celtic Morning Prayer!
Once a month there is an opportunity to join together for the quiet service o fmorning prayer on the 1st Wednesday of each month. There is opportunity for praying to together using the Northumbrian Community Morning Prayer including responsive prayers, scripture readings, meditation, silence and praying together. It will be about 20 minutes of prayer followed by an opportunity for coffee together if you wish to stay a little longer

Carbon Literacy for Congregations

This course offers learning about climate change, carbon footprints and how we can all do our bit to reduce our emissions of the greenhouse gases that lead to global warming.
The course is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project who, to date, have certified over 134,000 participants in 45 countries and from various organisations (businesses, councils, hospitals, etc). Our course has been specially designed with church congregations in mind. At the end of the course, it is hoped that all participants will make two pledges for relevant actions they will take to help make the world a better place.

Following the success of last year’s organ recital, the Revd Dr Steven Sivyer returns to provide another evening of varied music, which will include some well-known and popular pieces such as Widor's Toccata. Marking the anniversary of the death of King James, Steven will include a piece that may well have been known by King James, as well as the more contemporary composition for royal occasions, Walton’s Crown Imperial.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £3 for under 18s.
