Join us for a cup of coffee and social time in our beautifully refurbished church café area.
A said service of holy communion at 9am in church. The usual form of service is from Common Worship but every fourth Sunday we use the traditional words from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP).

Join us for a quiet service of Morning Prayer in the chapel in the South Aisle of the church.
Join us for a quiet midweek Said Eucharist followed by coffee each Wednesday
LENT LUNCHES IN AID OF CAFOD AND CHRISTIAN AID - a Churches Together event, where participants enjoy a simple, Lenten lunch of homemade soup, bread, cheese, fruit. It takes place at the Roman Catholic Parish Centre on Melbourn Rd. Entry for pedestrians and cyclists is from School car park only. Lunches are served between 12 noon and 1pm
Donations for lunch: Suggested donation is £5pp. This will be distributed equally between Cafod and Christian Aid.
Come along to enjoy a sociable time of knitting and chat. All welcome.

We welcome families with pre-school age children for a morning of fun and refreshment in St John the Baptist Church, Royston, every Thursday during term time.

Our Men's group meets monthly on the first Wednesday month at Wetherspoons pub (The Manor House). Note that in March it will be on the revised date of the 2nd Wednesday in the month, 12th March (to avoid the clash with the Ash Wednesday service).

Join us for a short, contemplative service of Celtic Morning Prayer!
Once a month there is an opportunity to join together for the quiet service o fmorning prayer on the 1st Wednesday of each month. There is opportunity for praying to together using the Northumbrian Community Morning Prayer including responsive prayers, scripture readings, meditation, silence and praying together. It will be about 20 minutes of prayer followed by an opportunity for coffee together if you wish to stay a little longer
Hot Cross Bun Praise – Just like our well-known Tea Time Praiseand Crib services, this is a lively and informal service for families,followed by Hot Cross Buns and other refreshments.
An hour at the cross – a quiet and reflective service marking Jesus’final hour on the cross.
Bach St Matthew Passion: A liturgical showing of a recording of a semi-staged performance of Bach’s great retelling of the passion narrative from the Gospel of Matthew.
Join us on Holy Saturday for Tenebrae – A service of hymns, readings and fading light
Sonrise Service – A service that begins outside the church (by the East Window of the Chancel) in the dark around a fire, where the Easter Candle is lit and processed into the church with singing. The service is followed by refreshments including Bacon Butties
BCP Communion Service – A quiet, reflective communion service, using traditional language
Family Communion – A lively and celebratory service for familiesthat is followed by an Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for this friendly and informal all age / family friendly service with stories, singing, worship band and TEA!
Come along to a CHEESE and WINE party at the church, on SATURDAY 18th APRIL, 7:00PM .
Tickets cost £12 and include cheese, crackers and a glass of wine or sparkling elderflower.
