Our Eucharist service includes bible readings, a sermon, given by one of the clergy team, traditional hymns and prayers.

Everyone is welcome to join us and we serve tea/coffee after the service and take the opportunity to catch up with each other.

Every Wednesday morning, we pray together using the Church of England Daily Prayer app, with bible readings, a reflection and a psalm.
It is a quiet, gentle gathering to prepare for the day ahead.

A warm welcome to pre-schoolers and their grown-ups. We meet at St Mary the Virgin, Westmill for songs, a bible story and a prayer along with activities and playtime.
Suggested donation of £1 per adult and £1 per child.

Enjoy a hot chocolate or ice pops on your way home from school. Outside St Peter’s Church, Buntingford, Thursdays from 3.15pm. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Bring along your own picnic, favourite teddy and a cosy blanket to sit on.
We'll provide lovely stories, joyfull songs and plenty of toys to play with.

There will be a Wedding held at St Mary the Virgin, Saturday 25th July 2026. There will be no other access to the church between 12 noon-3pm.

In preparation for the upcoming wedding, there will be a wedding rehearsal on Wednesday 29th July 2026 at 5pm.
The church will be unavailable for any other access between 5-6pm.

There will be a wedding held at St Mary the Virgin on Friday 31st July 2026. The church will not be available for any other access between 12 noon -3pm.

We don't have a communion in this service. If you would like to receive Holy Communion today, this is available at our church of St Peter's, Buntingford.

Join us for our Summer Fete. Weather permitting, it will be in the church yard, if not, we'll be dry in the church! There will be Stalls, Raffle, Cakes and Refreshments.
2pm - 4pm

Members of St Mary the Virgin PCC will gather to discuss the mission and running of the church.
The meeting will be held in the Children's Room. There will be usual access to the church during this time.

Buntingford Festival Choir return to St Mary the Virgin for an autumnal concert.
There is no charge for entry, donations will be gratefully received for St Mary the Virgin Church.

Buntingford Lice Presents: Highway Cello
In 2022 Kenneth cycled with his cello strapped on the back of his bike from Hadrian’s Wall to Rome, performing every day en route.
His book ‘Highway Cello’ tells the story of his journey through readings and music. Expect a wide variety of solo cello music, ranging from Bach to Bond, tangos and Irish airs, all interspersed by Kenneth’s acidic poetic commentary.

This should prove to be a most fascinating and entertaining evening!
