Accessibility

There are toliets at St James. There no steps.

There is a small car park at the Church Hall side of the building. There is plenty of parking available on the road by the church.

There is a hearing loop at St James.

Assistance dogs are welcomed.


Our Building

St james Church is a Grade 2 listed building.


Music and Worship

The church building is regularly used for concerts, the acoustics are very good. The church can seat over 100 people.
Although the outside of the church is Victorian the inside has been reordered offering a very light and spacious interior. There are chairs instead of pews.

St James has a good oragn that can be used for services. We do not have a church organist but we can arrange an organist when requested.

Other Features

Broxbourne foodbank stared at St James Church, when is out grew the space the foodbank moved to a warehouse in Cheshunt. St James is still the registered office for the foodbank. St James Church is still very actively involved in the running of the foodbank.

St James has a large hall and smaller meeting room that can be hired. There are good kitchen facilities.
The church itself can be hired for meetings and concerts.
