A Celebration of Shakespeare. The Felici Opera will perform a programme called 'Under the Greenwood Tree' to celebrate the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's First Folio of Comedies, Histories and Tragedies. This will be a lovely collection of Shakespeare-inspired opera and song, as well as some of the Bard's verses. Proceeds will go to the upkeep of the church. The concert starts at 4pm, but the delightful garden (which featured in the TV series Grantchester) will be open from 2.30pm for picnics. Tickets are £16 for adults and £6 for children and carers.

Our beautiful church is open every year for the Heritage Open Day scheme and is traditionally decorated for the Harvest Festival Service, which takes place the following day at 11.15am. Opening times for the Open Day are 10am to 5pm. We will be selling delicious home-made preserves in aid of both our church and the Hertfordshire Air Ambulance.

Join us for our traditional Harvest Festival service. The church will be beautifully decorated for the season, with flowers, fruit and foliage, as well as sheaves of corn, fruit and vegetables.

Join us for Remembrance Sunday. The service begins around the war memorial at 10.50am. We will remember the twenty men recorded on our war memorial who died in the service of their country in the First Wold War - also the woman buried in our churchyard who died in World War II.

Join us for our traditional carol service with beautiful festive arrangements of foliage, berries and candles. We also have a Christmas tree! Our Carol Service is a lovely start to a traditional country Christmas.

Join us for our traditional crib service - a very special service for children and the young at heart. Children in the congregation fill our beautiful crib with the nativity characters, as we tell the Christmas story. A charming service for people of all ages. The church is decorated with festive greenery and berries, with lots of candles and a Christmas tree. This is a delightful country-style service in our listed Victorian "arts & crafts" church.
