The PCC have taken the difficult decision, for safety reasons, to close the church building for public worship for the foreseeable future. We know that this is incredibly difficult news, but we feel this is the only way we can keep people safe.
Instead we will be offering a variety of services and prayers online. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as YouTube and our website. You can also still e-mail or call us if you need us.
Our Youth and Children's Church (YACC) will gather on Zoom as they did earlier in the year, and we will also offer a Zoom service for the whole congregation later in the morning. This will be accessible live via Zoom (a web based programme) and also by telephone for those who do not have internet access. There will be a recorded Eucharist available to watch online Sunday each week, as well as Tuesday Compline and our Wednesday evening Zoom prayer group. Please e-mail us if you would like to join the prayer group. We plan on doing some creative work with our young people and hope to offer more for everyone but we are still finalising what is possible. Please visit http://stfranciswgc.org.uk to learn more & get info about our online worship. We are here for you, please stay in touch and stay safe. The building is closed, but the church is not.
