Join us at St Mary the Virgin, St Margarets every Wednesday at 12 noon. Our new programme alternates each week between Holy Communion and a Midday Prayer Service. Both offer a midweek opportunity to come together and worship.

Everyone is welcome to these across-Benefice Bible Study sessions.
Start and end your week with a short, 30-minute prayer service from the comfort of your own home. A twice-weekly online Morning Prayer service for anyone to join.
There are two Care Homes (Willowthorpe and Belmont View) in our Benefice and we visit each of them regularly once a month.
The service is designed to be accessible to everyone including those residents who have memory problems, and we welcome people from all Christian denominations.
We sing and pray together, listen to a Bible reading and enjoy having church. We have at least four hymns, chosen to reflect the church seasons and celebrations, and to engage with the long term memories of residents. We offer Communion or a Blessing at the end of the service and respect the choice and traditions of everyone who comes.
Join us at St John the Baptist every Sunday at 9.00 am. The first Sunday of the month is an All Age Service and all subsequent Sundays will be a Eucharist Service.
If you are not able to attend in person or would like to follow an online service, the Church of England provides a weekly live steam, previous pre-recorded services as well as other digital resources. All of the Church of England online weekly service content is manually subtitled and contains British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation throughout. A weekly coffee morning that meets during term time at The Wilshere Hall. During winter this is offered as part of the Warm Welcome Space initiative, but we meet all year round.

We hold a Book of Common Prayer (BCP) Evensong service on the first Sunday of the month. The location varies across the Benefice, so please check the News & Notices for location. Join us for a Special Remembrance Sunday Eucharist Service at St John the Baptist Church, Great Amwell. There is also an Act of Remembrance at Amwell Lane War Memorial, starting at 10.30am.

Make Lunch Club offers a chance for you and your school-aged children (and their younger siblings) to get together, share a meal and have some fun during the school holidays.
Make Lunch Club is for you if your school-aged children are eligible for free school meals or if you’re struggling on a tight budget at the moment. Younger siblings are welcome too!
