There will be Benefice Services on three consecutive Sundays: Morning Prayer on 10th August at St John the Baptist; Holy Communion by Extension on 17th August at St Mary’s, St Margarets; and Morning Prayer on 24th August at St Andrew’s.

Welcome to St John the Baptist, Great Amwell’s Parish Church.

St John the Baptist is part of the Great Amwell with St Margarets and Stanstead Abbots Benefice. Our 3 Churches Benefice covers three villages with four churches, so we are blessed to be able to provide a variety of services. St John the Baptist, beautifully set above the New River, enjoys a more formal style of worship.
