Come and enjoy our Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary's Church, St Margarets! Christmas fun for all the family and a wonderful show of Christmas community spirit. Running over two afternoons (6th and 7th December, 2 to 6pm), including a 'Carols amidst the Christmas Tress' service on Sunday 7th December at 5pm.

St John the Baptist is part of the Great Amwell with St Margarets and Stanstead Abbots Benefice. Our 3 Churches Benefice covers three villages with four churches, so we are blessed to be able to provide a variety of services. St John the Baptist, beautifully set above the New River, enjoys a more formal style of worship.
